Volunteerism is an important ingredient in the culture of Just Born. Every associate is eligible for up to 24 paid hours a year to volunteer for corporate supported volunteer events. Our associates cook and serve meals in local soup kitchens, assist in animal rescue shelters, paint walls of human service agencies, maintain a local park, and are actively involved in their children's schools. Our associates' family members are also encouraged to join in many of these activities!

Donation Information

If your non-profit 501(c)(3) organization is located in the Lehigh Valley (Lehigh and Northampton counties in Pennsylvania), you may request a candy donation for community or fund-raising events once each year. Requests may be faxed or mailed to the Corporate Services Department at least four weeks before you need the candy. Please include the following information:

	Name of Organization and Group
	Contact person and phone number
	Date and purpose of the event
	Number of people attending

You will be contacted to arrange a pick up date and time.

Just Born generally does not donate to the following:

	Fraternal, athletic, and social clubs or programs
	Churches and religious programs
	Contributions directly to individuals

Grant Information

Just Born, Inc. welcomes proposals by June 30 for funds allocated in September, and December 30 for funds allocated in March. Please forward grant requests to the Corporate Services Department. Your application proposal should include the following information:

	Organization name and address
	Contact person
	Phone and fax numbers and email address
	Brief description of your organization
	A list of your organization's primary goals and objectives
	Key achievements or priority areas of your organization
	Name of the program or project for which you are requesting funding and amount you are requesting
	Brief description of the program or project. Include what you are hope it will accomplish, who the project will serve, the number of people who will be affected and the geographic area in which they live
	Work plan for the program or project
	Detailed budget for the program and a list of funding sources
	Organization's most recently audited financial statement
	IRS verification of tax-exempt status [501(c)3]
	List of board members and affiliations
