•               Previous supervisory experience with minimum seven years in a production environment as a supervisor

•               Working knowledge of statistical process control and lean manufacturing techniques

•               Excellent communication, interpersonal, team-building, and coaching skills

Just Born is searching for an experienced Production Supervisor for third shift who is responsible for managing and setting clear direction for production associates on safety, quality, and operation needs; and building ownership and commitment to Just Born programs, including the Sweeter Tomorrow System (lean initiative).

•               Champions department projects to implement safe cost-effective practices and procedures that consistently produce high quality products

•               Develops and implements cost savings activities within department to reduce costs utilizing lean manufacturing techniques and processes

•               Effectively manages associates to safely deliver consistent, high quality products within parameters of Quality Assurance specifications

•               Provides leadership in building and promoting cooperative relationships in a team environment

•               Assures sanitary and healthful working conditions through implementation of Sanitation procedures

•               Coaches associates to be productive members of a strong, cohesive team

•               Works with Engineering, R&D, QA, and outside vendors to recommend appropriate changes needed to efficiently produce new product or improve existing products

•               Deploys leadership and other Just Born core competencies
