The Just Born Green Team is a cross-functional team of associates who are committed to responsibly and actively promote recycling and conservation efforts at Just Born, with our families, and with our suppliers by optimizing resources through a supportive environment and education awareness. The team’s goals are waste reduction, energy conservation, less to landfill, recycle resources profitably, preserve our environment, incorporate recycling into our daily activities, educate and involve all associates, and recycle and use recycled products.

Just Born recycles 86% of its waste, and we converted to natural gas as our fuel of choice, which reduces our carbon footprint by about 75%.

Just Born’s Green Team was recognized by The Professional Recyclers of Pennsylvania with the PA Waste Watchers Award for outstanding achievement in public education, commercial/institutional recycling, and reuse.
