A New Star At The Box Office

Bethlehem, PA, March 5, 2008—Just Born, Inc.’s MIKE AND IKE®, ZOURS® and HOT TAMALES® Brand Candies experienced strong growth in 2007. For the 52-week period ending 12/30/07 (Source: IRI):

• MIKE AND IKE® sales increased 34.5% and MIKE AND IKE® maintains its 1st place lead in the Theater Box Candy Category with 10.8% of sales.
• The newest variety, Tangy Twister™, has been very instrumental in the MIKE AND IKE® Brand’s growth.
• ZOURS® sales increased 17.6%.
• HOT TAMALES® sales increased 12.6% and the brand is #4 in the latest Theater Box Category retail dollar sales rankings (including Sugar and Chocolate brands).
• Just Born leads the Sugar Candy Theater Box segment with 31% of 52-week dollar sales.
• Sugar Candy represents the largest portion of theater box sales with 62% or $115.2 Million, chocolate is 38% or $69.9 Million.
