PEANUT CHEWS® Puts a Pitcher on the Mound

Philadelphia, PA—July 9, 2007 - PEANUT CHEWS® Brand Candies, proud sponsor of the Philadelphia Phillies® is pleased to announce that Mike Angeros of Newton Square is the Grand-Prize winner and will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the July 13th game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Citizens Bank Park.

Brian Bachrach, PEANUT CHEWS® Brand Manager, commented "We are excited to offer Mike Angeros this unique opportunity to be on the field and to experience the enthusiasm of Phillies baseball by throwing out the ceremonial pitch. Both the PEANUT CHEWS® Brand and the Phillies are the pride of Philadelphia and a winning combination."

In addition to the first pitch, Angeros will receive four VIP tickets to the game. Ten First-Prize winners have also been chosen to receive a package of four tickets to the July 13th game and concession coupons. All of the winners filled out an entry form at a participating WAWA store.

One of the ten First-Prize winners Matt McGeehan of Bethel Township, PA commented, "Being a life-long Phillies fan I am thrilled that PEANUT CHEWS® is giving me this opportunity. July 13th will be my 54th birthday and I'll take my wife and two of my kids to the ball game to celebrate!"
