Kara Metzler Borneman Promoted to Assistant Brand Manager

Bethlehem, Pa. - June 28, 2007 – Leading candy manufacturer, Just Born, Inc., is pleased –to announce that Kara Borneman (formally Kara Metzler) has been promoted to Assistant Brand Manager in the Customer and Brand Development Division.

In her new position as Assistant Brand Manager, Borneman works on all aspects of consumer and trade marketing programs for the MIKE AND IKE® and HOT TAMALES® Brands. She reports to Donald Houston, Brand Manager.

Houston commented, “Kara has been with Just Born for over 5 years and has been a true asset for the brands with which she has worked. Having been with PEANUT CHEWS® prior to Just Born’s acquisition of the Goldenberg Company and working most recently on the MIKE AND IKE® and HOT TAMALES® brands, Kara is a valuable contributor to the Brand team.”

Borneman received her BS in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College. She is currently working towards her MBA at DeSales University. Borneman resides in the Lehigh Valley, PA.
