Bethlehem, PA, Easter 2011 – PEEPS® Brand Marshmallow Candies are playing a new role this Easter as star of the “Chillin’ with my PEEPS®” Sundae at Friendly’s restaurants. This partnership between PEEPS®- maker Just Born and Friendly’s will run for three weeks, from April 4th through Easter Sunday, April 24th. 

The Chillin’ with my PEEPS® Sundae will include three scoops of any flavor of Friendly’s ice cream, a choice of three toppings plus whipped topping, and will feature the New PEEPS® Chocolate Dipped Chick on top.  The sundae will be offered in 490 Friendly’s Restaurants. The Sundae will be part of Friendly’s Kid’s Meals that feature a drink, entrée and sundae.  The “Chillin’ with my PEEPS®” sundae is free with any level 2 Kid’s Meal or can be upgraded from the level 1 Kid’s Meal sundae for an additional charge.

PEEPS® Chocolate Dipped Chicks: The iconic yellow chick that has been around for over 57 years has a wonderful new look and taste.  Just Born has taken the beloved and classic PEEPS® Chick shape, taste and texture and dipped it in creamy milk chocolate or rich dark chocolate.  PEEPS® Chocolate Dipped Chicks will allow fans to connect with their past while experiencing the newest, scrumptious PEEPS® treat.  Each package contains three PEEPS® Chocolate Dipped Chicks.
