Bethlehem, PA, September 1, 2011- Seth Captain, an avid kayaker, PEEPS® fan and romantic, recently proposed to his then girlfriend by spelling out, "Will you marry me?" with 427 PEEPS® that were arranged on the bottom of a kayak.  Captain swam out into Georgian Bay, the large northeastern extension of Lake Huron, in front of a cabin they were staying in, and proposed.  The engagement ring was stuck into the question mark. 

When asked what made him propose with PEEPS®, Captain said the PEEPS® harked back to his first date for which he had made a PEEPS® necklace to celebrate the then Easter season.

And what was his girlfriend's response?  A resounding “yes” to her favorite PEEP.

Captain is a resident of Chicago where he is the owner/agent of Captain Realty.  His fiancée, Katherine Schneider, works as a recruiter in the technology field.  They have dated for 1½ years and met in Chicago.
