PHILADELPHIA UNIVERSITY STUDENT RECEIVES PEANUT CHEWS® "QUEST FOR KNOWLEDGE" SWEEPSTAKES MONEY ®
Philadelphia , PA, February 16, 2006 -- PEANUT CHEWS® brand candies and ADCAMP ASSOCIATES awarded Cory Schwarm , a student at Philadelphia University, the Grand Prize of $1,000 for winning the “Quest for Knowledge” Sweepstakes. Lots of PEANUT CHEWS® candies along with the $1,000 check were presented by the infamous PEANUT CHEWS® mascots at the Philadelphia University Bookstore on Wednesday, February 15th in Philadelphia. PEANUT CHEWS® and ADCAMP ASSOCIATES’ “Quest for Knowledge” Sweepstakes and Sampling program took place at 11 college campuses. At the eleven participating campus bookstores, every student received a PEANUT CHEWS® sample and an entry form for a chance to win bookstore merchandise or the Grand Prize Spring Break Vacation money. In addition to the Grand Prize Winner, there were also two winners per school each receiving $200 towards the purchase of school textbooks or merchandise. All winners were randomly selected by the Bookstore Manager and ADCAMP ASSOCIATES , which notified the winning students. Participating colleges included: New York University, Rutgers State University, Philadelphia University, University of Central Florida, Orlando-Valencia College, Palm Beach Atlantic College, San Jose State University, Cal State Hayward, San Francisco State University, UC Santa Cruz and Stanford University. The program was in effect for the Fall 2005 “Back to School” time frame. The PEANUT CHEWS® and ADCAMP ASSOCIATES “Quest for Knowledge” sweepstakes was designed to support a larger PEANUT CHEWS® sampling and distribution campaign on college campuses across the country.
