Bethlehem, PA, Valentine’s Day 2006 - Just Born’s MARSHMALLOW PEEPS® , MIKE AND IKE® , and HOT TAMALES® candy brands have sweet Valentine’s Day news. MARSHMALLOW PEEPS® Valentine’s Day Decorating Kit will be making a welcomed return after its very popular introduction in 2005. Fans will also be treated to MIKE AND IKE® and HOT TAMALES® delicious candy card products.

MARSHMALLOW PEEPS® Valentine’s Day Decorating Kit is sure to entice fans who want to decorate and personalize their PEEPS® . The PEEPS® Decorating Kit comes with a 4-ct tray of pink PEEPS® marshmallow candy Hearts, 1 tube of either red or white Cake Mate ® decorating gel, and on-pack decorating or usage ideas. The MARSHMALLOW PEEPS® Valentine’s Day Decorating Kit has an SRP of $1.99 and will be shipped in a 12-ct case.

Other Valentine PEEPS® brand marshmallow candies include the two-count Pink Hearts, flavored Vanilla Creme Hearts, and flavored Strawberry Creme Hearts. The Pink PEEPS® Hearts have a “to-from” space on the packaging and have an SRP of $.50. The Creme Hearts contain 9 PEEPS® marshmallow candies in each tray and have an SRP of $1.49.

HOT TAMALES® candy cards reflect recent sizzling changes made to America’s Favorite Cinnamon-charged candy. More intense cinnamon flavor was added to this long-standing popular brand. The new HOT TAMALES® candy card packaging graphics illustrates this hotter taste with a searing fireball and spiced-up HOT TAMALES® logo. The explosive cover reads, “You’re my favorite flavor” inscribed in a heart. The inside reveals a hot & spicy illustration and offers a “to-from” section in a heart.

MIKE AND IKE® candy card competes for the heart offering a fruity alternative. Recently, after 60 years, MIKE AND IKE® chewy fruit flavored candies made some significant changes, pumping up the taste by adding more fruit juice flavor to a smaller piece size. A delicious strawberry piece was added to the existing mix of cherry, lemon, orange, and lime. The MIKE AND IKE® Valentine’s Day Candy Card highlights MIKE AND IKE® Original Fruits’ packaging setting it amidst vibrant pink hearts. MIKE AND IKE ® as well as HOT TAMALES ® candy cards contain four-.5 oz. pouches with an SRP of $.99. Each will be packed in a 12-ct. display ready box.
